Better to Cry now

This was all to beautiful to keep to myself. I found it in the midst of packing and I hold it dear to my heart.

BETTER TO CRY NOW

It is better to cry now for your children.

Now, when they run and play without fewr.

Now, when they're asleep so dear.

Now, when your hands of prayer can mold from a heart so clear.

It is better to cry now, for your children.

A cry, loud and deep.

Let the inner man cry out.

Let HIM claim what belongs to HIM.

It is better to cry now, for your children.

Let the earth tremble with the cry of a Mother!

Proclaim their path and destiny "Children of the Most High!"

Let your tears be a testimony of the unseen world.

It is better to cry now for your children.

Now, when you dreams are born.

Now,  before they are all grown. 

Now , water well, your seeds just sown.

It is better to cry now for you children.

No need to wait for pain to cry.

Don't let the days be years to cry.

Don't let the years dictate the reason why.

It is better to cry now for you children.

Establish now your steadfast strength.

Know good and well the slate is clear.

It's up to you to write all in, with pen of tears a heart so clear.

It is better to cry now for your children.

Now when dandelions are the gift of love.

Now, when hand prints are in their smallest size.

Now when unconditional love is your only sigh.

It is better to cry now for your children.

Don't wait to hear a reason why.

And wait for them, only to spy.

The time will come, and soon enough you'll call and say "O Lord Why"

It is better to cry now for your children.

Now is the time to set the pace.

Now is when ALL time will change.

You and HIM in one accord are due to fill the empty space.

If you don't do it something will.

If you don't do it someone will.

If you don't do it time will prove that love was ill.

And then you'll cry a bitter sound.
