Ok. So maybe I'm that crazy mom that takes pictures of her kids ALL the time. But in my defense, this time my dear friend Kelly had let me borrow her neat fancy camera and so I decided to play with it a little and see just what type of potential it has.

Conclusion: If I had a husband he'd be finding some camera adds laying all over the house. I love it! I like the quality of picture you get from investing in a good camera with fun lenses.

       I took some pictures at my high school friend Natalie's Bridal Shower. And, as I am a woman who pays attention to detail, I was thoroughly impressed.

Vacation is next week, then a month after we get home we have family pictures, so I was trying to hold out as long as I could to just get away with doing just one hair cut for both occasions. 
Let's hope I'm right. I've underestimated the growth of boy's hair.

I'm sorry to say, my poor boys have gallivanted around town with out of control hair like this.

I pay a good penny (with a coupon) for my boy's to get to have the luxury of playing video games while they get their hair cut.

    Ok, embarrassing yet needed to share story. 
    First off, I have never met boy's that pick there nose more than my two boys. If they're bored you'll find their fingers up their noses for sure. I notice when they're lying in bed waiting to fall asleep they enter a exploration of the nares, and I get blessed with "Mom, I need a mocho catcher (aka tissue)" (Mocho=booger). 
     Upon getting Josh's hair cut, the stylist comments "Oh, he has something stuck in his hair" and low and behold.....it was a booger. Again, embarrassing now, but a great story to tell the girls in about 10 years. 
      Fortunately, the cute gal just chuckled and said "That's a first". The things you don't think are disgusting cause its your own child.

         I wasn't joking that I was playing with the angles and lenses and I'm by no means an expert. So although its a fancy camera that takes great quality pics, there still needs to be some talent behind the lens, that of which I lack but willing to learn and explore.

Final product-HANDSOMENESS!

      I love the way a boy looks just after getting a hair cut, nice and trim. The boy's and I splurged for a jamba juice after and enjoyed our beautiful spring day, that may have been a bad idea cause they loved it, and their little size drinks are too cute!
