Full swing 2013

2013 is here and in full swing...my calendar is filling to mid August it seems. Here are some snippets of what me and my boy's have been up to.

 Part of our schooling involved sending letters to ourselves and attempting to learn our address. It was a fun experience for me. They were semi excited too.

 Hair cuts seem more and more frequent and seem more and more expensive. I may have to resort to cutting their hair myself. Stand by for future pics.

 January 9th the boy's welcomed their first boy cousin N. He's so precious and such a good baby. Cousin L and M love him lots. Some say he looks a lot like K.

Guess time will tell and we'll just have to wait and see...

 The boy's were thrilled to hold their new baby cousin!

We also go back into our old routine with swim lessons...however. It seems as thought the boys took a few 

 steps back. But they're still dedicated (as long as I'm paying) and trying their best. Hoping to move up soon.

 A new trend lately is the hidden edible items I've found in K's upper bunk. I've found a variety of candy and the kicker was this pack of gum I recently found.

 Quiet time has turned into nap time.....zzzzzz...

And the highlight of our library visit is the computers.

We put some of our toys from Christmas together and now they are on display. Hours of the boy's piecing them together (with the help of Mum and Papa) and this is what they have! A GLUED lego ship.

  And as you can see, the Wii is up and running, Cousin M is in training to figure things out.

 For some reason sleeping arrangements have been a struggle here lately. The boy's have very comfortable beds in a nice and cozy room, yet they end up here. And yes.....they're comfortable.

Recent news is another Cousin will be with us in just 5 short months. Boy or girl we don't know, but come July we will spy what it'll be! Congratulations Auntie Rae and Uncle Ry!

 

 I went antiquing with my mom and couldn't resist take a pic of this over sized chair.

 We met up with old friends and had a blast!  I miss these ladies and their kiddos.

And cousin time is more frequent these days which the boy L*O*V*E*! Here are all five grand-kids with one still on the way.

 And well.......what can I say. ipads, iphones and ipods are the entertainment of their generation.

 Couldn't resist this pic of Cousin L.She may be small.....very small.....but big in character, personality and skills in climbing just about anywhere.

Baseball season is finally here. The boys are playing Rookie ball which means they get pitched to rather than using a tee (or until they miss 3 pitched balls). K's doing great....my baby J will still need a little work. The boys are on the Angels this year (I know it's upsetting to some of your Doyer Fans out there), but as a Momma, I'm glad I don't have to go and buy more baseball apparel.

Super Bowl 47 was celebrated in this fashion........ALL the kids (big kids included) playing outside.

 One of my favs.....love seeing two together.

We went the Orange Circle and loved taking snippets of my little men.

 I can hear J saying "Brudder......"

 Pondering.

 I loved this, they were staring into a stairwell that they said was "so beautiful", it really wasn't but they were truly fascinated by it. Such a cute simple picture of my two little loves.

And today. Who can pass up FREE pancakes? They were delicious! And J just about ate as much as me. These are growing boys.
