Being a single mom has its advantages and disadvantages (and since I'm single, let's focus on the advantages).
It allows me to focus on myself more than I could in a marriage/relationship. So I'm taking advantage of the time I have to focus on me and the things I want to do.
Last year I joined some co-workers for a white water rafting trip up in Kings River, I had a BAH-last!!
This was our camping ground, just a couple yards away from the river.
| My tent buddy Janell, it was fun camping with her! The water was cold, all the snow melting from the mountains and it was still early enough in the year to where we needed to wear body suites. |

| This was my rafting team, you need a reliable strong team to keep your raft steady. I was proud of out team. Our theme all weekend was "Go big or Go home!" |
These pictures are great! A member from the camp site took them and it was great to have this memory with me to share with all my family and friends. This river was a Class 3 white water rafting river, meaning we didn't
need helmets and for the most part it was manageable. Our guides were
really good at keeping us away from the dangerous routes, but we were
able to experience some good rapids.

Overall it was an amazing experience! I can't wait to take the boys (when they are 9 is the limit). I do admit there were some scary moments. A raft that went with us did flip over and they did have some injuries. But thankfully, I had an awesome experience and I got to check one more thing off my bucket list.
