K's actual birthday is next Wednesday, but we celebrated this past Saturday the big "5".
K set the theme for the party when he said he wanted to bounce. Bounce we did.
After doing some research and getting ideas on what to do for a boy's 5th birthday, I concluded to let him decide what he wanted to do.
K said "Mommy? I want a bounce house and I want to invite...."and the list went on. We rallied up 10 of his most closest boy friends per his request. We had all sorts of fun characters who took some time to pose for me as I created memories.

Ending with this pose, he looks so darn cute!
This year I decided to play some games, and I concluded that next time I will plan some more challenging games.
We had a mix of boys ages ranging from 4 to 7, so we split up into 2 groups to make the games fair.
The younger group played the game of walking no, waddling with a balloon between their legs as they raced to the finish line. They looked adorable.
Next, was the older boy's turn. They had to walk to the finish line balancing an egg on the spoon while holding it in their mouth. While they did that, NONE of the eggs broke when they dropped, I then made them walk back to again, and still, no eggs broke. So to finalize a winner I then made them walk with their eyes closed and the winner was the person who didn't DROP the egg.
After those festivities the boy's had a contest to show who got the most "air" while jumping onto the slide. This was pretty entertaining and scary...thank God we had an OFF DUTY RN close by. (I emphasized OFF DUTY)
Thank God, by the time the party started the sun was no longer hitting the slide and the boy's were in full shade. NOTE: The slide is almost as tall as our two story house! Kaleb said he wanted a Jumper and Auntie Rae and Uncle R sure did get him the biggest there was. Special Thanks to Uncle R and Auntie Rae for the bounce house!
