Lot's of fun rolled in to one

I don't even know what to title this post since I'm literally throwing pictures at you of what we've been busy doing the last two months.I feel like I always start this blog with the word "busy", and I know I do it to myself. I am the one that makes the plans and fills the calander. But that's just how it's gone in my life, and after kids, it's (life) come and gone all the more the quicker.

Here are the boys playing with some Christmas presents.

My poor J is gonna hit himelf with that bow, he's using it backwardsygy (smh).

John and I went to the Professional Bull Riding (PBR) show at the Honda Center with some friends. We had a delightful time and of course we loved shopping for our attire even more.

The boys and I went to Legoland with some dear friends and had a great time! K went on his first rollercoaster and was so thrilled about it. I love it when he is around friends, he becomes so much bolder and brave. Laney also joined us on this field trip. She was a blast to have! So much spirit in such a small being....it was a joy to take her.

John and I took the boys and Johns nieces to the Harlem Globe Trotters at the Honda Center. Talk about a good time. Here's a few pics of us at breakfast before the event.

Thanks to one of my dads vendors we were able to sit courtside and watch the Globe Trotters win yet again, against the Washington Generals.  A Globe Trotter even came and sat with the kids and took one of John's nieces into the show with him. She got this cool basketball out of it and John thought he'd try a little of his own tricks on the side line to look cool. He can spin the ball pretty good on the tip of his finger, but the Globe Trotter roster is full. Sorry John.

At the end of February John and I flew up to Idaho to visit/meet his Family. I fell in love with the place and the people.
Coeur D'Alene Lake.........this picture doesn't even do it justice. Its truly beauitful up there.
The best snow angel I've ever made, actually the ONLY one I've ever made.

Johns Mom and niece as we drove through the country side for lunch and shopping.

I don't know how waking up to this could or would ever get old. Johns mom prayed long and hard that we would be able to experience snow while we were up there. And God indeed granted her request. I couldn't get enough of its beauty!
Meeting your boyfriends family (Parents) can be a little stressful. I would have to admit my anxieties before the trip included "I hope they like me", "what will they think of me?" and "I hope I don't say the wrong thing (I'm known for that)". What I didn't expect was to walk away completely blessed at the things God showed me through these amazing people. I saw transparent individuals who not only loved each other but loved God so much! God took the "me" out of it and allowed me to see so much of Him in all of it. I will NEVER forget that first trip to Idaho and all the love I witnessed.
Needless to say, John and I both had an amazing time together. God was so good to us in showing us a lot of things and revealing Himself to us in such unique ways. We were both blessed by God's soverignty at work yet again in our lives.

Baseball season started after we got back from Idaho. RED, RED, RED (till we got to Arizone Spring Training) is what we were and still are all about. I'm really enjoying the season so far. The boys were placed on a great team with a neat Coach. I am very thankful for this league and the coaches.

The second game K got team ball for his good three hits and two good plays. Very proud ball player he is!

This is just a snap shot of the reality of life with all the grandkids. Silly faces, cry baby's and sleeping infants all rolled into one.

Here are some odds and ends photo's not sure where we were or where they chronologically fit so I just saved them for the end.
J's proud creation out of toliet paper tubes.
Big boy haircuts from a real barber. Mom just can't fork out the dough for vidoe game entertained haircuts anymore. Womp, womp, womp.

Rainy days are fun while sporting these cool umbrella's!
My baby still loves the swing.
A personal favorite. These smiles don't get much more genuine.
FREE pancake day! (I said FREE right?)
John and I photobombed by J. Photographed by K.
Stay tuned for more pics and stories of the Three Aderholds as one of the most craziest and busiest parts of the year is just around the corner.

Spring Training

We had a great time in Arizona this weekend for Dodger Spring Training. That's right, I said Dodgers. John is a big fan of the Dodgers and his annual trip to Arizona included non other than us three Aderholds. The weather was 85 degrees but those sun beams seem scorching. We survived the five hour drive, the fresh cool pool at the hotel, but only five good innings at the actual game. But amidst the fun, treats, illnesses and heat, we had a great time just being together.

A five and a half hour drive with two little ones was long, but the nap helped. Our goodies did too, where would we be without yummy treats?

The trip was full of fattening yummy treats, swiming, ping-pong playing, eating, playing games, Dodgers and more snacking.

The boy's made it five innings and to be honest, I don't know how much longer I could stand the Arizona sun. The sun was beaming and there was a slight breeze (which helped a ton) but we had two whinney boy's ready to jump in the pool.
Ultimately, Dodgers ended up winning the Milwaukee Breweres 11-1.  John was happy.

That night we were pooped from our hot day. We enjoyed relaxing in the hotel. Joshy even cought a little bug.

The boys enjoyed our little weekend getaway not because it was Arizona, or because it was Dodgers Spring Training. They enjoyed being with John. Jumping, climbing, laughing and playing with him, I kinda enjoyed him too :). It was fulfilling for me as a mom to see my sons enjoy this quality time with John, it made me smile, it made me smile big!
